Small businesses that employ a person in a new position between 1 July 2015 and 1 July 2019 can apply for the Small Business Grant and get up to $2,000 from the Office of State Revenue. What's better is that even if the employee is part-time or casual the grant is pro rata based on full time hours of employment.
